How to clean your dirty ass pipe.

Thought I would put up a quick how to clean your pipe demonstration. I have been cleaning my pipe every week for about a year now. I really don't know what I was doing before. Well, I guess I was smoking out of a disgusting pipe. Hope you find this useful.

Soak dirty pipe in hot water for 5 minutes, then flush dirty water down the toilet or something.

Add pipe to ziplock bag, and then add salt to cover.

Add enough rubbing alcohol to almost cover the pipe in the bag.

Shake the pipe in the bag back and forth, forever. Or until pipe is clean. You might have to repeat this whole process over again a couple times if your pipe is really dirty.

Dirty. Flush it or whatever.

Rinse with hot water for a couple of minutes.

Now we have a clean pipe. Let dry before using.

A couple more weeks...

These are some pictures of the pollinated C99#2. This is what a plant should look like when it is flushing. She is a real thing of beauty, and she smells like overripe pineapples. Should be ready to harvest in about 2 weeks, give or take. I am going to have several hundred seeds from this one cross, which should be enough for a long time. I am really excited about this cross. Next year I will grow strictly my seed, and I am pretty excited about that. This is some next level shit right here.

It's a jungle in there.

So I went to the doctor today, and he thinks I have gout, like Kramer in Curb Your Enthusiasm, only for real. It's in my right index finger which sucks because it turns out I use that finger for everything, including writing. It has been bugging me for a couple months now. The finger is really swollen like twice the size of normal. He said I could have an infection too.
The tent looks much better in person. Those 1000w lights really make it hard to take good pictures. Anyway, I hope these do it justice. The only one I am not fond of is the super tall one in the back. They are about a month into flowering, and supposedly C99 finishes in 50 days, which is a couple more weeks. The rest will ready a couple weeks after that. I will put up some pictures of the impregnated C99 soon.

Plant porn.

A male flower next to a beautiful smelling and looking C99.

Literally thousands of flowers on this one plant.

Pollen from 1 or 2 days collecting. I have about 5 times that amount now.

Success in patience. Transplanted all the clones I wanted into 4 inch pots.

The mood is set for these two to get it on.

Look at all that pollen on the males leaves. They look white. I thought it was powdery mildew at first.

Look at the leaves of this male. They look like they have white veins because they are covered in pollen.

Pollinated C99 with Chernobyl pollen. We are on our way! This C99 female looks awesome!
I have been pretty busy with this gardening stuff and trying to wind up the last couple weeks of school for the semester. I transplanted the clones that I wanted, and I have been collecting pollen from the male for 5 or 6 days. I have enough now for the tent and I just pollinated the shit out of the C99 in the basement. Clouds of pollen on that bitch. I chopped down the male afterwards and it was hard to see from all the pollen in the air. I certainly have enough pollen for my little experiment. Now it is just a pollinated C99 #2 in the basement. Kind of a waste of a 1000w lamp (600 or 400 would be just fine), but 1000w is all I have.
I plan to pollinate the tent in the next week, being sure to give them enough time to fully mature before the buds are ready for harvest. I plan to pollinate 1 branch of every plant in the tent, giving me about 20 or more seeds per plant, which is more than enough, considering I will get hundreds of seeds from my C99 in the basement.
I am not sure if I will make seeds again for the next grow (the clones I have), it was probably overly ambitious. I think I might get more than enough seeds from this one grow to fool around with next growing season. I might focus on just producing sinsemilla weed (Spanish for without seeds). We will see though. Pictures of the flowering tent next week.

Any day now...

Chernobyl #2

Thursday, November 29, 2012

Quick update.

Just wanted to do a quick update. Ended up killing the weaker of the Chernobyl males. Also, the C99 that I thought was male is actually female. So I am going to flower her right next to the male, which will make a whole lot of C99 #2 x Chernobyl #2 seeds; hundreds in fact. The Chernobyl male will be giving pollen in the next week so I am trying to prepare the best I can.
The clones are just starting to root, and I will start to transplant them soon into 4 inch pots. I was worried about them for a bit, it took them over 2 weeks to starting rooting, but all is well. It is good to know that I still have got it in me to do this, and under these circumstances.
I put a screen up in the tent, made out of plastic fencing that I got for super cheap at Home Depot. It seems to be working out pretty good. I am using it as a support more than anything else because I did not stake anything this time. Things are coming together nicely considering there are so many moving parts and so many things that could go wrong (powdery mildew, mites, cat, neighbors, parents, cops, etc.).
Also, I have been working on some names for some of the seeds I will make. Here are a few:
OG/Chem #2 x Chernobyl #2 - Critical Meltdown or Three Mile Island
OG/Chem #3 x Chernobyl #2 - Disaster Relief
C99 #3 x Chernobyl #2 - Fairy Tale
C99 #2 x Chernobyl #2 - Mucho
Kandy Kush #1 x Chernobyl #2 - Lemon-Lime OG
OG18 #1 x Chernobyl #2 - Sirius A
OG18 #2 x Chernobyl #2 - Sirius B

    Any feedback would be welcome.
Male flowers starting to form.

Screen is up.

These two plants are about to have sexual relations. There is love in the air.

The twins are doing good.

Twins!

Didn't even know this was possible. I am going to separate them when they get a little bigger.

Getting to know the males.

This is Chernobyl #2, the better looking of the Chernobyls in my opinion. I rubbed the stem with my fingers and it smelled pretty good. It is also the smaller of the two and it shows no nutrient deficiencies.

This is Chernobyl #1, which is also really good looking. It is a little bit taller and has a little bit more stretch than his brother. Also, he shows some slight nutrient deficiencies on his lower leaves, and I might end up just tossing him. I will keep him around for a bit more though.

This is Cinderella 99 #2, who turned out to be male. I am excited about this one. Not only is it the shortest plant in the whole garden, but it is packed full of branches and has really tight internode spacing. This might be the one I end up breeding with the first time, we will see.

I am going to flower them in the basement shower. It worked out really well that way.

4 of the 5 seeds I planted are up. 2 Jack the Ripper and 2 Chernobyl. Waiting on 1 more Jack the Ripper.
I am going to flower in the next day or so. I have just been kind of overwhelmed with everything going on. I have 3 rooms dedicated to growing now, and it took a lot to get set up and everything. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. There might be 1 or 2 more males, but I am still unsure so they are still in the tent. I am getting excited. Should be collecting pollen in a couple of weeks.
